My Story

Eczema is a debilitating disease to have, not just for the patients but also their families. It affects around 20% of children and 10% of adults and causes inflamed and intensely itchy skin. The vicious itch-scratch cycle often results in significant sleep loss, difficulty concentration at school and work and skin infections, bringing patients into hospital.

We are from the Paediatric Dermatology team at St John's Institute of Dermatology, where we have the UK's biggest research programme for children with this debilitating condition and a clinical service at Guy's & St Thomas' Hospital in London that specialises in severe eczema.

The National Eczema Society (NES) is our national charity supporting those suffering from eczema and their families.

Please support us to raise funds for NES!

Many thanks in advance!
