My Story

*** Great South Run was cancelled unfortunately due to severe weather. I have however, signed up to another 10mile event in order to still raise funds for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and hopefully achieve my own personal goal of running 10 miles in 1 hour 45 mins or less 💪Sometimes life throws you a bit of a curve, just go with it and be the best you can be 🫶

 

It's time I got my butt in gear and did something for me again, so what better way than running 10 miles for charity 😅 I last ran the Great South in 2019 so let's see how I fair 5 years later. 

 

I've chosen to raise funds for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance as they are a fantastic and valuable resource to our region. Every penny will literally go to save a life. So anything you can spare would be greatly received. 💖

 

The AJ Bell Great South Run has been the world’s most famous 10-mile run for over 30 years, and each year it gets even better! 

Starting and finishing on the glorious seafront, the event provides stunning running at every turn and passes iconic landmarks including the Historic Dockyard, HMS Victory and Southsea Castle.

It’s a run for everyone, of all ages and abilities – an inclusive celebration of running, with music blazing, crowds buzzing, legs pumping and fists bumping.
