My Story
On Sunday the 19th of October 2025, I will be running the 10 mile Great South run, in aid of the Tiny tickers chairty🫀
Tiny tickers support and aim to better the start in life that baby's born with serious heart conditions have.They fundraise,provide equipment, raise awareness,support families ,and work prenatally to find heart defects sooner ,aswell as provide training and webinars to certain professionals.They are known for their THINK HEART campaign, which highlights signs that babies have ,often suffering undiagnosed with heart conditions.
Being a student children's nurse💙👶🏼myself now, it's a charity which fits in with my chosen path too. It's one charity which I will see the positive impact off as I go through my training.
Sadly, heart defects are still one of the biggest killers in babies under 1, being responsible for 1 in 13 infant deaths.
